We want you to know that as the Covid-19 pandemic unfolds we are taking action to help ensure your health and safety. We are considered an “Essential Service” by the state of California. That means that as so many small businesses have been asked to close, we are able to stay open to support your health and well-being.
We have adopted policies in accordance with The World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Placer County Health Department to allow safe and sanitary operation at our clinic.
Some of those policies include:
- Face Coverings Recommended according to your individual situation
- More distance between patients and greater time in between appointments.
- Modified adjustment techniques to decrease contact.
- The use of Protex Disinfectant before during and after your treatment time on all frequently touched areas including doors, handles, adjustment tables, buttons/screens, bathroom and counter surfaces. Protex is a top of the line disinfectant that kills most all viral or bacterial microorganisms within 15 seconds (including coronavirus).
- An option to wait in your car for a phone call until your treatment area in re-sanitized and ready for you.
- Screening of patients using CDC guidelines to rule out exposure or symptoms.
- We ask that you not present to our office if you have been traveling in the last 14 days or in contact with someone who has been traveling or possibly exposed.
- We ask that you not present to our office if you have had a cough, sore throat, fever, shortness of breath or runny nose in the last 14 days.
- Anything else that we can do to make you comfortable receiving the care that you need.
We will continue to rely on the advice and protocols of scientists and public health agencies to allow the best possible response to this pandemic. As of now our routine hygienic measures along with increased attention to these measures is the best prevention of contracting viruses like the novel coronavirus.
